Announcements for April 12th

  • Youth group will have a kickball tournament on April 19th at 6pm at the Parish. This is for our youth who are current 5th graders through 12th
  • New volunteer training for lectors, eucharistic ministers, ushers, and altar servers will be throughout April and May. Please check your bulletin for exact dates and times.
  • Young adults ages 18-35, join us for Theology on Tap at the Sumter Original Brewery on Thursday April 16th at 7PM.
  • We have open spots for parishioners to sign up for the vocation chalice. Please sign up in the binder in the foyer.

Announcements 3/29/2026

There will be no Religious Education April 1st&8th

We will have Mass of the Lord’s last supper at 7pm on April 2nd with a Vigil through the night

The parish office will close at noon on Tuesday March 31st and will reopen on Tuesday April 7th

The Spanish mass will be at 12:30 on Easter but will go back to 12:00 the following Sunday.

 On Tuesday March 31st there will be no Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, however, the Church will still be open for prayer.

  • Religious Education will have their Easter Celebration Wednesday March 25th. This will include dyeing of Easter Eggs, refreshments, and Easter Fun.

  • Join the SASJ Stewardship committee March 16th for a Lenten Journey in the parish hall. Consider bringing a soup or bread to share.
  • Curious about Cursillo or feeling a nudge to learn more? Join us for a meal and fellowship at our Cursillo information night on March 24 from 6:30–7:30pm in the parish hall.
  • The young adult moms group will meet on March 19th at 7:30 pm. Join the group me by scanning the QR code in the bulletin.
  • The women’s guild’s next meeting is March 21st at 10 am in the parish hall. Meet them for a craft and fellowship.

  • There are envelopes located in the pews for “The Catholic Appeal of South Carolina” Please consider giving generously.
  • We are looking for suggestions for parish council members. If you know of someone, please write it down and leave it in the suggestion box at the entrance of the church.
  • Debt reduction collection will be next weekend at all masses
  • Filipino mass is Saturday March 7th at 7pm
  • On April 3rd at 6”30 pm we will have a youth lent passion play. Contact Cecilia or Nicole in the office to sign your child up. Parents please support your children in taking part in this.
  • Overnight Adoration will be Friday March 6th
  • The boy scouts will be outside after the ten & noon mass  to register interested families. Registration will be on going.

  • Please refrain from trying to alter the thermostats in the church. They are preprogramed and locked to accommodate the Parish needs.

  • Confirmation is on Friday Feb. 6th. The Novena and Adoration will be cancelled that day but we encourage your Parish Family to come witness confirmation.
