There will also be a training  meeting of the Ministry of Holy Communion & Homebound on Friday, August 30th at 6:00PM at St. Anne.  

Religious Education Meet Your Teachers is this weekend from 10:30-11:30 AM at St. Jude Parish Hall.  Classes will begin on Sunday, September 8th. 

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults begins Wednesday August 28th at 7 PM in the St. Jude Parish Center.  If you are thinking about joining the Catholic Church or know someone who is, this is for you or them.  Please see the bulletin for more information. 

It is not too late to contribute to the Capital Campaign!!  There are pledge cards available in the church and at the Parish Office.  Please contact the Office if you have any questions.

The next Picnic Planning Meeting is Monday, August 26th at 6:00 PM.   Meet us in the conference room at the Saint Jude Location.   Every group of the parish should send at least one person to participate.

There will be a training and meeting of Ministry of the Word (Lectors)  on Wednesday, August  21st at 6:00 PM at St. Jude’s Library.  Please call the Parish Office for more information. 

There will also be a training and meeting of Ministry of the Holy Communion & Homebound on Friday, August 30th at 6:00PM at St. Anne.  Installation of Ministers will be on Saturday, August 31st at the 8:15 AM Mass.

This weekend, there will be a second collection for the Bicentennial Celebration.  This is NOT a campaign collection.  All funds collected in this special collection will go toward events and celebrations honoring the Diocese’s 200th year!

Tax Free Weekend is this weekend- perfect time to pick up Gear Up for Learning school supplies.  All Supplies need to be dropped off to the School or Church office by Monday, Aug. 5th.  If you have any questions, please contact Denise Spivey at 803-464-2117.

Have you ever considered teaching Religious Education?  Our children are the now of the church and teaching only requires one hour per week of your time and talent.  To volunteer, please call the office.

Facility Clean Up Day will be every 1st Saturday at St. Anne Location and every 3rd Saturday at St. Jude Location from 9:00am – 12:00 noon.   Please contact David Marcella or Bill Todt with questions or if you have ideas on how you can help!!

The Ladies of Peter Claver will hold a Meet and Greet this Sunday at 10:30 AM in the St. Jude Cafeteria for all women in the church who may be interested in learning about the Ladies of Peter Claver organization. 

We are actively looking for money counters to join our Monday morning counting teams.  Finance experience is helpful, but not required.  If interested, please call the office.
